With a background in finance and largely self-taught, Maira Rībena creates soothing landscapes using acrylics, natural textures, and fabric in a minimalist, nature-inspired style. Her art combines the textural distinctiveness of textiles and organic substances with the fluidity of digital techniques, subtly highlighting nature's serene patterns. Maira aims to slow down her viewer's mind, inviting them to immerse themselves in the calmness her work embodies, fostering a more conscious, mindful society through the power of visual arts. Her creative process is deeply rooted in nature. She draws inspiration from the intricate patterns and shapes found in the natural world, channeling these organic elements into each piece.
